Dealing With Heated Discussions

Kallie Kerr

Like many people, Kallie Kerr has noticed the polarization of society, which has only produced more hate, more distance, and more chaos in an ever-changing world. Consider attending this workshop if you wish to improve your communication skills to bring people back together again.

Family Solutions to Social Problems

Armando Aragon

Our society is facing many different challenges, and many individuals with good intentions focus on helping others overcome the specific issues that affect them by strengthening the individuals in society. While this approach may offer short-term relief, its long-term impact is often limited. By addressing the root causes and strengthening the core unit of society "The family" we can discover more effective, holistic solutions that can transform lives. In this workshop, we will explore the importance of family-based solutions in tackling societal issues. Thus, preparing the way for long term change.

Integrity, Intention, Identity: Be Yourself on Purpose

Emily Ells

Emily is a recent graduate from Brigham Young University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in editing and publishing. While at BYU, she served as president of the pro-life club. She also worked as a university writing tutor, a managing editor for Stowaway magazine, and an assistant editor for BYU Continuing Education. Currently, she works as an editorial intern for the publishing services department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Outside of work, she loves reading books, planning (and that means planning everything: meals, workouts, work priorities, outfits, you name it), shopping at the farmer's market, and playing games with her family. Emily is passionate about helping others develop their personal strengths and set meaningful goals. She is excited to be part of this conference and hopes that all those who attend will come away with worthwhile insights to apply to their lives and families.
