This Summit Is For YOU.

As Young Voices ourselves, we understand the current worries and struggles young people everywhere are facing, and we're here to do something about it. We started our journey of designing this Summit by asking people like you what their concerns were for themselves and society at large, which is how we created our mission statement:

"We are focused on amplifying the voices of informed youth and young adults who are knowledgeable about the state of society in regards to healthy sexual relations, family foundations, mental illness, upholding life and core identity."

Everyone has a meaningful connection to at least one of these themes, which is why we are confident that you have a place in this Summit. So many in this world would make you believe that your life is incomplete without them, but we'll be the first ones to say that we need you. It is your brave effort as a young person that can bring about so much good to so many who need it.

FOCUS AND GOALS

Objective

Amplify the voices of informed youth and young adults who are knowledgeable

about the state of CSE and are eager to speak to it. These individuals are committed to
creating and delivering workshops to educate and equip advocates with the tools and
resources needed for effective, positive advocacy.

Goals

Working with young voices to create, plan, execute the “young voices” summit
Include young voices from different races, cultures, and religions
Include young voices of PCHC members
Involve young voices in every presentation and workshop
Provide training on how to approach and succeed at sharing truths about sexuality
among peers.
Arm participants with RESOURCES.

Summit

Overarching Themes

Learning to create, organize and amplify the voice of truth through multifaceted

strategies. Thus, creating an environment where truth is valued, repeated, and
amplified in societal dialogue.

Creating ways to spread truth among societal falsehoods
Focusing on “Character Advocacy”: setting a higher standard of advocacy that better

represents our value system and who we are.

Building bridges of understanding with family and friends.
Bringing civility and decency back to civic dialogue. Modeling how to manage honest

differences of opinion with mutual respect and dignified dialogue.
